Local Video Data
Original videos, thumbnails, tags, comparison alignment data, and app settings are stored on your device by default. Videos may include audio recorded by the device microphone. Form Camera does not upload original videos, audio, or thumbnails to our servers or Firebase.
When you choose to export, save, or share a video or snapshot, the app uses the operating system share or save flow. The destination you choose may process the shared file under its own privacy policy.
Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics
Form Camera uses Firebase Crashlytics and Google Analytics for Firebase by default to understand app reliability and aggregate product usage.
Data that may be sent to Google/Firebase includes:
- Crash logs and diagnostic information
- App version, build number, device model, OS version, and locale
- App interaction events, such as onboarding completion, recording save success or failure, gallery actions, comparison sync result, export completion, and privacy policy opens
- Firebase installation or app-instance identifiers
Form Camera does not intentionally send the following to Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics:
- Original video or audio files
- Thumbnails or image frames
- Take IDs
- Local file paths
- Custom tag labels or other user-entered tag text
- Precise location
Purposes of Use
We use diagnostics and analytics to:
- Detect, diagnose, and fix crashes
- Improve camera, recording, gallery, comparison, tagging, and export reliability
- Understand aggregate onboarding and feature usage
- Improve product decisions while preserving local-first video handling
Third-Party Processing and Cross-Border Transfer
Firebase Crashlytics and Google Analytics for Firebase are provided by Google. Data sent to Firebase may be processed by Google in countries outside Japan. Google maintains data protection measures described in its Data Processing and Security Terms. By using Form Camera, you acknowledge this cross-border provision of diagnostic and analytics data to Google.

Your Choices
You can delete locally stored videos from the app. You can remove local app data by deleting the app from your device. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@komms.co.jp.
Children
Form Camera is not directed to children. The app does not ask for age or intentionally collect children's personal information.
